I and a friend want a sculptor to sculpt a number of miniatures for us. The first is the Potsdam "Giant" Grenadiers" of Frederick William I, Frederick the Great's Father. The model MUST be as seen in the Lil and Fred Funcken book, Vol I, pg 133 figure 7. It also must be as large as a man who is 6'8" or so. We also want a figure, mounted, of the Russian Chevalier Guard of the War of the Polish Succession. We need a trooper, officer, trumpeter, and drummer. These must be mounted figures. We require them to be mounted on horses of our choosing. We will provide the horse to fit the figure to. This is the Chevalier Guard which had the weird bat wings (I suspect eagle wings) on their helmets. Remember this is from the War of the Polish Succession. If you are interested, contact me at sigurd@eclipse.net. Sculptors not able to do historical miniatures need not respond. |

You forgot the scale. 15mm? 6mm? 1:100? |

Tried dropping you an e-mail but the address you provided doesn't seem to be working? Cheers Aidan aidan-campbell.co.uk |

30mm, to fit in with the classic miniatures of Charles Stadden and William Suren. |

Otto; Do you want them to fit in with Edward Suren's "Willie" figures or, perhaps, the much rarer William Suren's "Teddie" figures? Just curious… Bill |

You might want to get in touch with Michael Cremerius of Germania Figuren. He is a quality fanatic who even replaces brittle parts like spears with steel to prevent them from breaking, works with several good sculptors, does the mouldmaking/casting for several of them who were not satisfied with the quality of other manufacturers and creates custom figure lines for collectors. Even if one-stop shopping is not what you have in mind, the gentleman can point you in the right direction for what you want. |

Oh, and if you are interested in buildings and sceneries, too, try Matt Barker of Printable Scenery, who is currently running a Kickstarter campaign and has asked backers to submit ideas for new stretch goals. Maybe you are lucky? ;-) |
