I've been putting together a Chinese KMT force for use with the Crossfire rules. The figures are all plastic and the majority are based on the figures from the Caesar Chinese Army range. I've also used the HaT WWI Turkish Infantry set. Fortunately the KMT uniforms varied quite a bit so some artistic license can be used. These figures are supposed to represent soldiers from the elite German-trained Chinese divisions such as the 200th Division. The Chinese manufactured the German 1935 steel helmet under licence for these divisions. The common feature of all these uniforms seems to be those helmets and puttees. The German heads have come from a range of figures including Caesar, HaT and Airfix. The two figures on the Company Commander stand are both Airfix, the one pointing is the officer from the German Infantry set with new head and luger removed. The other is one of the crew of the Sdkfz234 Armoured car.
