I need to round out my collection this Cold Wars and need a couple US and German infantry. Do these lines go together as most of my stuff is Artizan. Thanks. |

I have both and find the Artizan are a tad beefier. When you say Warlord, are you talking about their plastics of both armies or their metals? I think the plastic Warlord Germans would be a closer match to Artizan, but not the metals. Don't know about the plastic US. |

Thanks Avidgamer, I prefer metal but I have not seen their plastic. |

I have found the Perry's stuff (both plastic and metals) are further away, size-wise, from Artizan. I like the Bolt Action metals a million times better than their plastics. I bought the two German boxed sets of plastics and find them annoying to work with and not overall satisfied with them. I'll never buy those again. Have not seen the new FJ box set though. I should note that I like plastics in general equal to metals, so this is NOT a rant against plastics, but some companies are much better than others at it. |

I mix Warlord, Artizan and Black Tree. So Black Tree Design would be worth looking at as well. |

Depends. The early Bolt Action figures are sculpted by Paul Hicks. They're smaller than Artizan and hence not compatible. You will see that standard issue items like helmets, rifles and canteens don't match. Later Warlord figures are beefier and more compatible with Artizan, but stay with one manufacturer if at all possible. BTD has the same issue as early Bolt Action in that they're noticeably slimmer. |

I like Artivan but find the stock by my distributor getting smaller. i prefer single cast, no loose heads or guns, men for my forces. I mis Artizan, Crusader, Berlin or Bust, Rules of Engagement and battlehonors. All have their pluses and minuses. |

I totally forgot Victory Force too. I have some of their figures and I like them, and can be bought as singles too. You just never see them at conventions. |

I'm building a British Airborne force for Bolt Action and wasn't impressed at all by the Artizan casts, they look super derpy and have no necks? Right now I have Foundry and 1st Corps on order – will post a quick review when everything arrives! |
