Prophet of Set reward figure from Dark Fable's Temple of Set Indiegogo campaign, sculpted by David Soderquist and expertly painted by Paul Sanderson. Its not just another Snake Cult . . . ;) We are nearing our funding goal and first stretch goal reward.

"THIS . . . is CoNaN."

Nice sculpt, nice paint job.

That mini is indeed the wellspring from which you flow.

Nice sculpt. :)

Several years ago I got to meet and work with Ron Cobb (who said the "just another snake cult" line, and was the Production Designer on "Conan"). He was super nice and very humble – excited to talk to a fan of Conan. Apparently he was given free rein on the set for the look and feel, and really appreciated the confidence Milius showed him. It paid off, too.

Ron Cobb is the unsung hero of that movie, giving it a real ancient world feel rather than the daft fantasy, silliness the subsequent ones went for.

Awesome figures, very tempting….

Yep. That's a match.

I would love a variant of this mini with the snake helm and some boots. These are great – how about a matching set of strong silent types per the picture above? I would also like the cauldron of greenish soup with the floating bits.

Dark Fable Miniatures are 28mm to the eye for the most part, females are slightly smaller than males mostly. No comparison shots at the moment but they do compare well with GW, Reaper, Crocodile games and Otherworld. Most sets contain three figures unless stated otherwise.

Lovely figures.

Dang, I'm getting the Conan bug again . . .

Here are two models from the Fearless Heroes Set, the Northern Barbarian and the Female Mercenary. Both figures were sculpted by Dave Soderquist and painted up by Paul Sanderson. Really nice miniatures with lots of character and detail. The campaign has reached its funding target and is well on the way to unlocking our second stretch goal reward.

So many great miniatures in this – looking forward to getting them!

Another painted version of the heroes set in stylish camo painted by Paul Sanderson. Also some giant baboon spiders sculpted by Andy Pieper which are an upcoming stretch goal reward.

Only 6 more days to go before the Temple of Set Indiegogo campaign comes to an end! All stretch goal rewards have been unlocked and a 4th set of cultists have been released as add-ons. Some great miniatures on offer: link
