I was motivated to dig out the fleets today after picking up a copy of World at War magazine with some Naval articles.

2016 will be the year that the batlleships rise again.

Did up a blog post to document where I am at with all my neglected projects.

I figure this might hold me accountable. ;)

Enjoy!

What are the blue bases shown in the pictures? Are they pre made or did you cut them out of some medium yourself?

they are 1" x 3" pre-made metal bases.

You WANT to be held accountable? We can be so cruel!

Not to worry; I'm blown away from what you've got already. I may know no shame, but pointing fingers from where I stand?

Not even I. ;->=

How many other rulesets have you looked at?

Doug,

Primarily VaS, GQ and In Harm's way.

NT lacks if you want to do air battles, but IMO is by far the best for gunnery battled which is ideal for Predreads through WWI as well as many WWII actual battles and hypotheticals.

Not a lot of record keeping and provides great support such as formatted already filled out ship data cards for every ship by name in each navy.
