Raygun Rayborn and the Space Vixens
I ran this game at the Rapier Convention in Jacksonville last weekend and I will running it again this weekend at Pensacon in Pensacola, FL.
This is a Flash Gordon-ish Pulp Sci-Fi sort of game. The scenario was that the Heroes are trying to escape in their captured war rocket through slaver infested space. Of course, the slavers disable the Liberator knocking out its warp drive, computer and damage the maneuver drives. In the confusion, the the Emperor's daughter arrives, the captured spymaster escapes, and the vixen's board the ship. Everyone had a great time with the Hawkmen swinging the game with their timely arrival. The quote of the game was after one of the Rangers managed to lock a door open (vice closed) in the face of a horde of Vixens was "Come on man… We need more Buck Rogers and less Duck Dodgers!" Beautiful looking terrain. Looks superb. I suspect someone may have done that on purpose, since I can think of many worse things than being "captured" by a horde of beautiful, voluptuous, Space Vixens. |

That is an amazing layout! I loved seeing some of our figures featured in your game. I especially love your gold shuttle in the photos. Where did you get it come from? -Matt Beauchamp Hydra Miniatures hydraminiatures.com |

Awesome! I am a sucker for Flash Gordon. Where did the items from the bridge come from? |

The Gold ship is a Mattel Toy from the Movie "Space Jam". I saw it somewhere here on TMP several years ago. I found one on Ebay and snapped it up. All of the props on the bridge were scratch built from balsa, styrene and bits from old VHS tapes (look at the backs of them – there are lots of cool patterns). More pictures available on request. The globe is the top off of a "Toobs" container (from Hobby Lobby). I used some green stuff to change the continent outlines. |

Buck, The rules we use for our games (Chip Coffey and I) were inspired by your GASLIGHT and To Be Continued… rule sets. |

Looks like a very fun game and extremely inspiring! Love the space vixens, they definitely add 'flavor' to the game. |

I clicked on the thread, the first picture hesitated in loading, then 'unfolded', as my jaw dropped at the same speed. Awesome. Doug |
