Victrix have just put the 28mm plastic un-armoured Iberian Scutarii and Balearic slingers on sale on the website. link
The Armoured Scutarii will be out in a few weeks and there are a few sets of transfers on release with more to follow. Iberian cavalry are being worked on at present with some renders to show in a few weeks time. Steve. |

Thanks Steve. Will check out the website. They do look very good, most interested in the cavalry to come. By the way. At one stage I recall Gauls were mentioned, are these still in the list? Cheers Garry |

Some of the best looking kits out there so far I think. Going from strength to strength. -Will |

Superb animation and detail, the weapons are just right size/scale wise. |

Hi Are the Balearic slingers in the Ancient Iberians section different to the Greek slingers in the Ancient Greek section? They look similar to me but not sure if that is just my fading eyesight. Thanks James |

Wargame Insomniac, they are different – the stone bullet bag is on the opposite hip (so these guys have the bag on the same side as the sling – which makes for a difficult time in pulling a new bullet out I would think). Perhaps there is historical evidence for the bags to be on this side. |

Thanks wmyers I have some of the Victrix Greek slingers but thought they lacked variety of pose. Was looking for ways to get similar but slightly different figures to round out units. From what you said it might be worth picking up a single box of these at some point. Thanks James |
