Hello to You all!

As I have now completed a commision for a customer, I shot some pics of the finished ships. I was asked to sell some unpainted castings as well as some with a complete paintjob. Further, he asked me to "rig" some of the ships which means adding masts and yardarms. I used stainless steel of 0.1 to 0.3mm gauge. Maybe some day I will come up with an idea to add rigging but hopefully I'll find better ways to use my spare time .

First it's the french ironclad "Redoutable" as of 1878 with her later rigging with bolt military masts:

… followed by HMS "Edinburgh" of 1884:

SMS „Olga" (1881) in her later days as a training ship:

SMS „Kaiser Friedrich III" (1898)

… and finally HMS "Victoria" (1887), one of my very favourites of all time:

Obviously, I need some advice to avoid that grainyness showing up in all of those photos. Maybe I should start building bigger stuff!

All the best!

Christian.

Figurehead/Hallmark ships?

Resin castings of scratchbuilts. I have done a series of now ca. 80 ships from 1870 – 1905.

I can't help but laugh – but only because I never thought it possible! Well done Christian; that is truly amazing in 1:6k. Thanks for sharing – they're lovely models.

That is impressive especially at 1/6000. I did the same for my 1/2400 Pre-dread fleets a few years ago.

Thanks for all the nice commenst!
@McKinstry: Yes, I am selling them, from raw castings to fully painted ships. I can send You a full list if You like.
@Blutarski: Thats a giant matchstick. I have this huge thing lying around for years now and just can't remove it on my own.
Cheers!

Hi Christian. That would be wonderful.

Thanks!

I would note that the 2x4 really must be a 4x4, I use them as a corner post.
