What American Revolution regiments can you use a marching pose for? All of them! Or at least infantry that you want to field in rank and file. With the launch of our revamped AWI line, All the King's Men has converted, re-mastered and re-tooled our marching infantry. You can now select as many of these bodies as you like, and combine them with the command figures and head sets of your choice, all on our Recruit Your Own Regiment menu shown here: link
In the above pic, we have assembled them to become Virginia infantry. The figures are 54mm metal. They have also been the basis for our familiar Continental and British infantry (with heads attached). For the RYOR menu, the head was removed from the original green, the neck drilled out, some features like the cravat removed to make the pose more utilitarian, and short gaiters and socks were added.
You can see below how the pose is still used for our Continentals and British as one-piece models (which have also been re-mastered and re-tooled in their own right).
The British are distinguished from the Patriots by having tall gaiters, goat-fur backpacks, and a tin versus wood canteen. Both these sets are also available on our AWI page: link All infantry is $40. USD That includes 12 soldiers + 2 command, whether from the Recruit menu or for a set of one-piece British or Continentals. |

I saw the first picture and thought "Poor fella lost his head to a cannon shot." Kidding aside, head swaps are a great idea. These figures look really nice. |

These look so great. I've managed to resist the AWI for years, but my resolve is weakened by seeing posts like this. It was one of my first boyhood loves (visiting Fort Ticonderoga in 76' was to blame)--I was so inspired my youthful years were spent listening to National Geographic's Songs of the Revolution far more than the Bee Gees and KC and the Sunshine Band, and I like to think overall that was a good thing. I can practically hear those songs (from NG's album, that is) while looking at these fellows. Thank you (I think). |

Thanks, guys! Daryl, I take it as a compliment to send you back to your youth. This is the scale I loved as a kid, which is why I make them as a grown-up kid. |

Here you go Daryl: "That's the way, uh-huh, uh-huh I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh" |

Thanks for nothing 79th: I already had "Shake-shake-shake, Shake-shake-shake…" in my head, now I have that as well. ;) |

Thanks, Jeff! I have to hand it to your Panthers, they're on fire. As for the Leafs… |
