"Cuba Libre - Cronistria Fight #9" Topic

All,

It's 1845 on 18 April 1990, and Team 6-4 (plus two men of 6-2) is on the move. Tico, Blue, and a squad of Cronistrian Democrat Militia (CDM) just blasted a hole in the perimeter of the enemy base at Petroika, and now Team 6-4+ is on the way to the building where Turk and Panda are being held by members of Demjanovic's Tigers, a Serbian commando battalion. There are also members of the Yugoslavian Army in the area.

Redrum leads the charge on the target building. He did very well for himself today, earning the Bronze Star with V. To see how the fight went, please check the blog at:

So right now Rooey, Redrum, Goss, Bolt, and Turk are operating the enemy APC to escape with Blade, Rock, and Panda out of action in the troop hold. But Serb commandos are moving to intercept them as we speak, so stay tuned for the next batrep.

That ended up being a much more nail-baiting mission than I thought it would, from the starting point. Nicely played.

Thanks man, one more fight to go in order to close out this portion. Then I'm thinking of switching to 15mm with my new town set and Eureka Aussies, Chechens, and Russians.

No doubt getting busy with the nurse rather than getting busy with the enemy.

Well that's gratitude. Panda is getting the living $%@# beaten out of him while his "rescuers" skip through the tulips like a bunch of girl guides. Only for Jack's legendary Cheat o Dice the two captured lads (including the real hero of the piece) would be dead. Thematically how can we justify the mysterious inaction of those normally dependably murderous Serbian scum. Perhaps even the Serbs recognized the indomitable character of Panda.

Or maybe they just kept feeding him assorted fruits as they seemed to have a bountiful amount in the room ;)

Now release the Panda's of War Jack; let us see some real action ;)
