Could be useful for color references. Some other interesting things: details of ruck-packing; how quickly troops disappear in shadow and foliage, even when they're not trying to hide; green camo tape on M-16; M-60 stowage; vaiety of fading on helmet covers. imgur.com/a/hxb3Y |

Really neat pics. I got a kick out of one of the soldiers holding a Polaroid camera. I had that exact same camera back in the day. Oh, we gotten so far down the road of life. |

Thanks for sharing this. They remind me of some of Dad's photos. As a bit of an aside, has there ever been a concerted effort to archive all this primary material? Just wondering. Ron |

That is an awesome find, and a treasure trove of primary resource data, as Coelacanth brought up. Though for it to have even greater utility, some captions, timeframes, and locations would be even better. Small world though; nice to see the ol' Golden Dragon crest again. He was 1-14 INF and I was 2-14, though admittedly thirty-odd years and a different continent altogether. |
