Hello, two big gaps in my book collection are the AWI and the French Revolutionary Wars (up to 1802). I was wondering what books people can recommend for these on these two topics (two separate books not one covering each) that meet the following criteria:

- They offer a narrative and read as well as a novel.

- Cover the history of each conflict in it's entirety with a focus on the military and political aspects.

- Preferably published within the last 20-30 years so as to be accessible via most methods of buying books.

- With regard to the AWI, it would be great to get a perspective that's not terribly biased one way or the other (hard to do I know).

Thanks in advance.
