It looks like GW will be retiring the Tomb Kings line.

So if you want some better grab them quickly.

There are some good models in that range and some good deals to be had. The skeleton chariots I thought were a steal at 3 for $36. USD

The Battalion seems like a good deal as well at 20 infantry, 8 cavalry and 3 chariots for $125. USD

Even the Necrosphinx is pretty cheap at $50 USD for such a large model.

My second fav army in WHFB behind dwarves.

I guess (with what little I know of AoS) it is not surprising.

The TK relevance with the new AoS setting (as I understand it – which again, is incomplete) I assume it is not a good fit.

GW can suck it. No need to elaborate further.

Looks like they are going to focus on the Vampire counts and the ghosts, which look like they might be their own faction within an army.

Well it should come as no surprise. GW has let go of Dogs of War, The Slan, and Chaos Dwarves. I am sure it is a business decision based upon sales. While I am tempted to now suddenly pick up some Tomb Kings I think I will resist the urge. I have too many projects and too little time much as I would like to one day create that army. One has to be pragmatic.

No lost here.

That army jumped the shark when GW came out with Surfing Mummy's.

Oh just the first of many WFB armies that will end.

Agreed, I never liked the idea of splitting the Tomb Kings of Khemri off from the regular Undead. I prefer my army to have both Vampires and Mummies!

I thought the whole WHFB had been retired?

Mithmee13 Feb 2016 11:17 p.m. PST

It has but now the miniatures from it will discontinued.

They can join the Squats in the back of the closet.
