I have some and the Front Rank are a touch too small to use together with any of the plastic GW horses. Some of Redoubt's horses can work, and BTD's Helsinian armored horse matches the Empire plastic armored horse. |

Agree that the GW plastic horses are a bit large – even compared to old school GW metal horses |

I am thinking of mounting my Kislev horse archers on smaller plastic horses, like Perry or Conquest. I am going to mount my Kislave lancers on the newer Pistolier horses. I am then going to use those unarmored GW horses for Pistoliers and other medium cavalry riders I make from scratch or buy off other manufacturers (like Front Rank for Bretonnian or Empire yeoman). |
