I have some and the Front Rank are a touch too small to use together with any of the plastic GW horses. Some of Redoubt's horses can work, and BTD's Helsinian armored horse matches the Empire plastic armored horse.

Agree that the GW plastic horses are a bit large – even compared to old school GW metal horses

I am thinking of mounting my Kislev horse archers on smaller plastic horses, like Perry or Conquest. I am going to mount my Kislave lancers on the newer Pistolier horses. I am then going to use those unarmored GW horses for Pistoliers and other medium cavalry riders I make from scratch or buy off other manufacturers (like Front Rank for Bretonnian or Empire yeoman).
