From what I can gather, these are being broadcast in order,1st was last week. IIRC, 2nd features swordplay. I "think" MHZ Networks are carried on some cable and satellite systems, probably a pretty high number.

Worth seeking out for 18th century fans. 10PM tonight.

Thank you for the tip-off. I stayed up and watched.

Lots of interesting things on MHZ International Mystery Theater -- "Maigret," "Raid", "Anno 1790" over the years; but sadly not well-publicized.

Anno 1790 made me want to read something,as I know zero about this--one of the good things about historical dramas.
They are also running "A French Village" about the 1940 invasion.

Too bad the Chinese apparently changed The China Network to an all-English channel. I watched several WWII epics(no subtitles and suspect history, but some nice battle scenes),and a 40-part drama about Genghiz Khan! That one had subtitles, obviously done by a native Chinese speaker,so often weird, and the names of characters and places were mostly (to me)unrecognizable, but LOTS of battles and sieges.
Never knew the Mongols had so many cannons…
