What I wouldn't give to see these in plastic. For all the figures out there in plastic 1/72, there still isn't ONE decent set of French infantry in full dress. NOT ONE. |

Wow, these are spectacular, thanks as always for posting these Armand; between these, the Westphalian Guard Jaegers and the Dutch Militia, some great releases from Hagen the past couple of months. I'll be ordering all of them for sure. With Art Miniaturen and Schilling slowing way down on releases, Hagen has really stepped up in the metal department. My entire 20mm Napoleonics collection are metal figures, all 10,00 or so of them, can't get enough of them to be honest……………all of them are painted too……sorry, not a fan of plastics. |

Whereas GG I came into o 1/72 precisely because of plastics, and use metals to fill gaps. Hagen can sometimes appear "rough" to my eyes – I am a big fan of Francesco's work at Franznap, but maybe I need to order some and see for myself. These look like they are based on the Zvezda light infantry so should be good |

I used to collect plastics but stopped in favor of metal; Hinton Hunt, DK's, Newline Design, Art Miniaturen, Qualitycast, Kennington Miniatures, Hagen to name a few. I've got quite a few Hagen figures and they paint up great, they look terrific and are on par with Art Minituren. Not a fan of Franzap, don't want to assemble figures, his have more of a two dimensional look to them than traditional metal figures do. I am a fan of Zvezda plastics, theirs are the one range of plastics I did keep, I sold off all the rest, but don't have any painted ones in my collection. Yet. |

Marc, I cannot find the thread where you were about to tell me where I could get some Zvezda French Light Infantry. I'll try this thread. Sorry to the other posters. I don't mean to hijack a thread, but the Zvezda line is out of production and so that makes this a little critical. Thanks, |
