WOnderful to see in M1808 uniform. The M1810 which in most cases was not issued until 1813 had Brandenburg cuffs.

My 48 page book on the Westphalian Guard with about 300 illustrations will be out in just over a month.

Are these different from French?

summerfield09 Feb 2016 8:02 a.m. PST

Yes the cuffs and lapels are different. The shako plates. Yes you could paint up French plastics as Westphalians.

Tango, thanks for the post.

Stephen, thanks for your input. I look forward to the release of your new book, as does one of my mates who is feverishly buying Westphalians and needs references.

They look nice.
As do their Saxons.
Alas for the last 3 days the site has been down.
Tried coming in through the various search engines and facebook page with no joy.
Hope he gets it up soon or I will have to sub the Perry figures for the order I am looking to place…

Cncbump, I had the same problem. A pity as I would like to order some of their troops and see how they paint up, I have no experience with Steve Barber figures but these troops look nice and I lack westphalians in my armies

Sorry Gents. Our website is back up. Technical problems with our server. I happy answer any questions or fulfil orders as always. Best Wishes, Steve.

Thank you Steve, just ordered two batalions of your Westphalians. Can't find the "older figures"on the website, I know you had some Westphalian guard inf somewhere. Are you re doing the ranges or did I miss something on the website. Any plans for Westphalian heavy cavalry (cuirassiers)?

Steve Barber12 Feb 2016 6:27 a.m. PST

Hi Marcel,
Thank you for your order. The older ranges are still available, just not on the website. The 28mm Westphalian range is being completely redesigned. There will be 3 more packs of line infantry, including ragged troops and enthusiastic infantry and grenadiers in bearskins, for the 1st regt etc. Light infantry is almost all sculpted and hopefully will be released before Salute. I have started on the guard grenadiers but cant give a release date on those. Cuirassiers will definitely be done.

That's really exciting to read.
Will hold off on my order and wait to see what you roll out.

Now he will curse. He needs your order now. It is called commercial survival…….

Just received the Steve Barber models, looking far better than I expected. Large, clean models not unlike the Calpe Saxons. Very detailed. Highly recommended
