Certainly not Arwen. All she does is mope around and let the leaves pile up in her room. Of course, Daddy sent all her servants West. Does look good for being 1750 years old. |
lugal hdan | 08 Feb 2016 2:14 p.m. PST |
Pretty sure she doesn't count as a Princess, but Cara the Mord-Sith from "Legend of the Seeker". I'd also like to nominate Daenerys Targaryen, who started out a Princess, alongside Sansa and Arya Stark. |
Jeff Ewing | 08 Feb 2016 2:26 p.m. PST |
Princess Bubblegum, of course. But Adventuretime has so many great ones: LSP, Hot Dog Princess, Fire Princess… |
napthyme | 08 Feb 2016 2:26 p.m. PST |
Most fantasy TV shows did not have a princess. |
Landorl | 08 Feb 2016 2:28 p.m. PST |
There just haven't been very many fantasy TV shows through the years. I remember one called Wizards and Warriors that was on when I was a kid, but don't remember if there was a princess. "Legend of the Seeker" was a good one. |

Princess Irulan Corrino. Ron P.S. The TV mini-series of Dune wasn't my favorite version of the story, but I gotta represent. P.P.S. All you "me too" types don't complain when this goes to poll and nobody mentioned Princess Leia or something. |

Miss Piggy from Star Wars Muppets |

"I totally missed the John Carter TV show." Anything 'on TV' in our house comes from a DVD. Never paid the robbery rates for cable to subsidise everyone else's premium sports channels. And never bothered to switch to the hi-def, so couldn't watch broadcast if we wanted to (which we never wanted to before the change anyway, hence the lack of hardware change here). |
magokiron | 09 Feb 2016 9:45 a.m. PST |

Okay Coelacanth, Princess Leia (for those of us of a "certain Age") |
Mute Bystander | 09 Feb 2016 1:48 p.m. PST |
Winston Smith, Arwen of LOTR was not a TV or Cable Series but a trio of movies. |
snurl1 | 09 Feb 2016 9:29 p.m. PST |
Princess Ariel rom the short lived '80s TV show Wizards & Warriors. |
Winston Smith | 10 Feb 2016 5:35 p.m. PST |
Mute Bystander, I reject the OP's arbitrary and capricious limits. I have seen LOTR on tv. And I have also seen John Carter of Mars on tv. So there. |
dilettante | 10 Feb 2016 7:17 p.m. PST |
Wonder Woman (aka Princess Diana of the Amazons)then, Xena,Warrior Princess-then, all the rest P.S. Wizards and Warriors did have a princess;the same lady who was the "maid" on the second Newhart show. |

Princess Ariel from Thundarr the Barbarian! Rode around a post-apocalyptic world, fighting villains with her magic powers, while wearing a snazzy one-piece bathing suit. What's not to love?
