I've seen posts by members here stating this is NOT Ernie or Alien Dungeon, but I have no personal knowledge. |

Ed, ex of AoW, is saying it's his range. But when AoW were running the Crush of Iron Kickstarter, there was no suggestion it wasn't theirs. I know what I think is going on. I hope for Ed's sake I'm wrong. |

Hello, I think at this point i need to say something publicly, so here goes. I had no ownership in Robot Peanut Studios, Architects of War, or Alien Dungeon. I was just an employee. I moved my family in August last year to Pennsylvania to continue working for them when they relocated, at my own expense, only to find out 3 months later I didnt have a job anymore, and that they were filing bankruptcy. Since then i have been on my own. Alien Dungeon were going to be the distributor of the 15mm Fantasy Miniature Range, which they never owned, or have any rights too. I have established my own business Battle Valor Games, and i will be releasing the figures myself. My phone number is registered to Maryland because that's where i moved from. Old Glory have been kind enough to provide me with space from which to run my business. It would be nice, instead of generating idle gossip and speculation if people used modern communication methods like the phone or email and maybe ask the people they are speculating about some simple questions directly. Its bad enough to be tarnished having worked for a business. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Just email me at ed@battlevalorgames.com. Thanks Ed Spettigue |

Hi Ed Thank you for your reply. I think this is far from idle speculation, and I had no intention of contacting you privately. Lets not the readers here, Architects of War have been a mess for the last year or so, owing money to UK companies they will never now see. In that period, honesty has not been a word we've used in relation to AoW. Have a look at the Kickstarter: link This clearly says Crush of Iron is a Architects of War product. It lists you, an employee of AoW as far as we knew, as the author. So please don't accuse us of 'mischief' in presuming this was Ernie's product, why wasn't your company name on it? Knowing what a mess AoW have been for so long, why would you want to put your product in their hands? It is a genuine concern to make sure a company, knowing it's going bankrupt, is not just removing assets and getting 3rd parties to front it. I've said my piece Ed, it's down to you to show this isn't the case with BVG, and I genuinely wish you all the best for the future. Nick |

Nick, I see everyone's concern, but am not going to attack his character and reasoning to carrying on this range. I backed the kickstarter and was upset it closed. I didn't have any money in the other kickstarters, but woild be extremely mad if I didn't get what was promised. It is safe to say that with two good people at Old Glory giving Ed space to work on the Battle Standard range should help with easing concerns. Let's give him some slack and see what happens. |

Just get one of those front page announcements from TMP and you should be able to set everything straight. Introduce yourself. You may want to consider changing your handle to identify yourself as your company, or at minimum include it in a signature. There are a couple more supplier/manufacturers on TMP that should do that as well. Popping up out of nowhere left everyone drawing their own conclusions. The figures are wonderful and everyone here hopes you have deftly managed all your property rights so you do not get sucked into AoW's bankruptcy proceedings. |
