I'm interested in this set of rules, but from looking at their forums it seems that this is the oldest in a series (Future war, Blitzkrieg 2) and so is in need of either lots of unofficial amendments, or a new update. Is there any news on when a Cold War Commander 2 might be released? Don't want to buy something that is recognised as obsolete.. |

Spoke to Leon from Pendraken today. Blitzkrieg Commander will be re-issued 1st, with Cold war Commander coming out towards the end of the year. |

Ok, guess I'll wait until then, then. Still, gives me chance to actually buy (and maybe paint) some figs first! |

Although it will be nice to get CWC2 why wait? CWC is an excellent ruleset especially when you can have games like these link link And if you are in the UK in Sept 2015 there is the 1985 Southern front mega game link |

"and if you are in the UK in Sept 2015 there is the 1985 Southern front mega game" and obviously able to time travel as well? ;-) |

As others have said above, we purchased the 3 rulesets early last year and we're working on revamping and reissuing them over the coming 12 months or so. First up is BKC, which should be ready in the next month or two, and then CWC will follow on towards the end of the year. |

I have all 3, in paper form and PDF – a very nice ruleset. But I wish you would have started with CWC, as BC2 had been updated a fair bit, fairly recently, and CWC was due a bit of an overhall, especially around the Air Support and ATGW rules. Look forward to seeing/buying your new updated sets though and Im glad someone is taking over from Pete's great work over the years, as they are very good rules, extremely well written and laid out. |

Thanks for the reply, the reason behind BKC first is that we've already got extensive WWII ranges in place, so it made sense to work on that set first. We're currently working hard to expand our Modern ranges as well, so that we've got more in place ready for CWC's revamp later this year. FWC will be last in the queue as we'll need to get a lot more sculpted ready to support those rules. |

Any specifics or ROUGH estimates on dates for the 3 sets of rules Leon? Put me down for all 3 :) |

We're hoping to receive the revised BKC text from our rules guy any day now and then it'll be another few weeks for us to get them formatted and sent off to the printers. I'm hoping to have them ready for Salute. CWC is next in the queue and we're estimating the end of the year for those. Hopefully we'll have some modern infantry released by then as well! Finally FWC will be the last to get done, as we need to do a lot of work on new ranges to support the rules. Best guess for those would be around mid-2017 I'd think. |

Hi Leon, I've just gotten both BKCII and CWC from Lulu and look forward to giving them both a spin, and also to the next editions. The immediate thing I'd humbly ask for in CWC II is Cuba! Maybe lists for during the revolution and after it, or at least some mention of how to get them from other lists. I think most Red Dawn scenarios would involve the Cubans coming up into Florida. Thanks! |
