The rules provide that one should use 12 " inch rods divided into 3 " inch sections. From years ago I acquired some 1" male female threaded rods. Just the ticket They are machined aluminum about 3/16" diameter and BELOW a helpful lad has told us where we can all get some. I love them for this rule set I am just now exploring. The figures are 28mm Foundry Prussians from the 1870 FP war.
