Fox has started casting new faces for the second season of ‘Wayward Pines‘ and Jason Patric (‘The Lost Boys','Narc') is the first new actor to have signed on the dotted line! Previously Patric has primarily worked in film and it will be interesting to see him transitioning to the small screen. When a new ongoing series from M. Night Shyamalan was announced,there was worry from his most recent movies that it wouldn't go over well and with fans eagerly awaiting the second season of this series, those fears have thankfully been put to rest. Based off of Blake Crounch's book series, we'll be seeing the upcoming 10-episodes picking up right where the events in the finale left off.

On the series we'll see Patric playing Dr. Theo Yedlin. He is a surgeon who has been in suspended animation and comes to smack dab in the middle of the rebellion that the town is facing. While he tries to understand what ‘Wayward Pines' actually is and keep the human race safe, we'll see him become a leader in the town both from his people skills and his life saving skills behind the knife…"

I quite liked the tv serise. Also the books.
I thought ,matt dillon was great. I've been a fan ofhis since "Moody, I'd like you to meet MY BODYGUARD".
