Or whatever the collective term is for these lads.

Finally got around to completing these Grino40s figures. Having to redo the band, it gave me the excuse to get the missing toug bearers. I know the drummer should have been with the band, but I had his horse already set in the base and………….well you can guess the rest. I think white, not yellow for the palest…..I think……….

They are clever to be in front of the big Arc de T years before it was completed I know!

Too bad that a bunch of scruffy Cossacks did them in.

And where did that happen and do you have a source?

Thanks for that (and from you especially, your book is a major resource for me), but apologies that you have been saturated with them by now!

Just got my Lithuanian Tartars……..and a cunning plan!

I can never leave figures alone, so it might be three straight from the box, but some conversions too. Their upper wear is ideal for the early (1806ish) Mamelukes, with head swaps….plus I want to do at least an officer and trumpeter for the Tartars.

No idea why I want to. They were not even at Waterloo, but I gather there were some earlier conflicts involving Napoleon. I love a challenge me………..

Deadhead looking forward to your work on the Lithuanians
they wore even more flamboyant dress then the Mamelukes..
initially that is…….

Well you did ask!

Some head swaps and I now have an officer and trumpeter for my Tartars, but, best of all I have the new bodies (ex Tartars) for my early Mamelukes (OK, only two but……)
