"ISIL fighters parade along the streets in Syria's Raqqa province in June 2014 [Reuters]ISIL fighters have streamed into Libya in recent months, heightening fears the fighters are gaining ground and influence in the divided north African country. About 5,000 Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant fighters are now in Libya – double earlier estimates – while the number in Iraq and Syria has dropped, a security analyst said on Thursday.
The updated figures come as the US administration of President Barack Obama faces growing calls for the American military to step up action against ISIL in Libya, where fighters have already seized the city of Sirte and an adjoining length of Mediterranean coastline…."

Inquiring minds would like to know how they got there? Certainly not overland, through Israel, and/or Egypt, I suspect. Seems like via the Mediterranean, and/or through Turkey, I suspect. |

Some may be like BH and AS … local islamic thugs, terrorists, jihadis, etc. that claim they are aligned with Daesh or AQ. Generally follow their dogma, techniques, etc. … Which isn't to say some Daesh members from Syria and/or Iraq, etc., have not "relocated". And recruited some of the local islamists, etc., … Either way they = targets … |
