Hi All, I've completed building a Martian Tripod for a special game I'm planning, it's made for use with my 28mm stuff, it stands 32cm high and is made from bits and bobs, here's a picture of this critter in action:
More pictures, some fluff and the build details are on my blog: link Cheers! |

And this thing I saw! How should I describe it? That is a marvellous piece of work, Captain! Very different from most of the tripods I've seen in miniature. I like the fact that the shape suggests that the machine could easily fit within the confines of a Martian cylinder. And scratchbuilt from so many bits and pieces. Inspiring stuff. I may have to have a crack at something similar, just for the heck of it. Thanks for showing off your work! |

Very cool. It's nice to see something that doesn't try to copy the version that a manufacturer envisioned. |

I like the scratches on the pic……makes it look olde-timey…LOL! |

Absolutely brilliant! Inspired and love the clever way you made the base so that figures could fit under the model. |

Nice piece! I like that the base allows it to stand over other minis on the board. |

Thanks for all the comments guys! The Tripod is getting quite a bit of attention when people see it in the flesh…seems size does matter!
