"14 million Yemenis — over half the population — face hunger, the U.N. warns, saying "the numbers are staggering" Mass starvation is ongoing in Yemen, the United Nations warns, calling it a "forgotten crisis." The poorest country in the Middle East may be on the brink of famine, while it faces bombing and a blockade from a Saudi-led coalition, backed by the U.S. and the U.K. Approximately 14.4 million Yemenis — more than half of the population of the country — are food insecure, according to a new report by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, also known as the FAO. Can't the Saudis drop some MREs or something like that … They can get them from the US I bet. Of course with all the factions you wouldn't know who you are feeding. Feeding the enemy is a bad idea. |

Given the poor Saudi performance so far, hitting the enemy in the head with air-dropped MREs might be a step up in lethality. |

Indeed … The Saudis are another force in the region that has a lot of military equipment. But no matter how much training they receive from the West. They just don't seem to have "the right stuff" … |
