Do too many single model units break the game?
I don't think so.

You can read about our attempt to do so on my blog as the Companionship of the Necklace try to escape the Chamber of the Marzipan Bull…

I really don't know how it could!

A most enjoyable AAR!

And, I've been wondering: So long as you don't violate the spirit of the game, and keep up with the counts, couldn't you use LITERALLY reduced-strength units? Such as a 10SP unit of spearmen. I realize that you would have to inflate the existing point values so that they then could be fractionalized accordingly.

Great!

Just reading the rules now. What unit type would be the best for a magician?

The Beast Rampant – Thank you. You could certainly use reduced strength point units. They could represent units that have seen a bit of action before the current fight, or just slightly weaker units.
I wouldn't bother adjusting the points if you're only reducing it by a point or two. No points system survives contact with dice rolls!

Platypus01au – Any unit can become a magician. 'Best' is just a matter of how you imagine your spellcaster a working. I've seen them done as missile troops to represent a lot of minor spells like blasts or lightning bolts, or as light/heavy foot that can form a Wall of Spears to get a defensive 'spell'. I made Dandruff light foot for this reason.

Very nice AAR, glad people can see the potential to play small and large games.
