link The conclusion is probably YES. However, here is the money quote: ""Would I have challenged T. rex to a race, just to see how fast it could go? Probably not," Martin added." He seems not all that sure of his conclusions, or is maybe like me a fat old guy. As they say, you don't have to be the fastest guy. Just the second slowest. |

I don't need to outrun a T-rex. I just need to outrun YOU! Damon :) |

Seeing as the modern chicken is supposed to be the nearest descendant to a T-Rex, and we know how fast they can move when they have to; multiple that by the size of this beast & my answer would be probably no, even when I was at peak fitness. |

Depends if they are carrying their equipment! (T-Rex were a glam rock band in the UK – fronted by Marc Bolam for our U.S.readers and other aliens!) |

Oh, cool, as a U.S. reader I can now claim alien status! I've been telling my wife I'm alien for years, now maybe she'll believe me. : ) |

I'm not a sprinter anymore but I can run pretty much for ever (well. 20+ kilometers). So if I can get a start, no pesky lizard is going to eat me. |
