The title says it all. When shoulder launched missiles have equipped most armies since the 70s, and form part of a platoon Toe, why arn't they part of anyone's range of Cold War figures? |

I don't know which platoon to&e you're thinking of – they simply don't feature in a standard rifle platoon, which tends to be the basis for 28mm games. |

Anti Aircraft assets are usually an attachment, not part of a Platoon TO&E or even an MTO&E. Even then they usually don't get distributed below the Battalion or Company level. Are you thinking maybe of LAWS which (at least in theory) could be used against Helicopters? |

They are part of a Russian platoon Toe, and I do know the difference between a LAW and an anti aircraft missile. On a company level game, such as Sabre Squadron there would be likely to be at least 1 attached to the company, hence the question. Most weapons have ranges greater than the average table, but we still field tanks and artillery. If there are rules to include aircraft then why not field the anti-air? |

I have two 28mm afghanis with stingers, but I'm not sure which company. Could be TAG or Eureka. |

Thanks iceaxe, I'd missed the Eureka US troops, no Soviet missile there though sadly, especially given last year's great releases. |
