Merde! Well, M. Bonaparte will be understanding about the kaboom, I am sure. :)

That looks like a fun game! I am seriously considering Kiss Me Hardy, but first I must round up the ships. What are yours? They look lovely!

Mine are Valiant Enterprises 1/4000. I got them really cheap from the old game store in Champaign (15$ for 12 of them). Best purchase ever.

That kind of luck doesn´t come round just everyday, well done!
I think I will have to go with the Navwar starter packs. Only problem is the Czech national bank is making my life miserable with their weak crown, the bastards.

well you could be in Turkey: p where I am paid 4 times the median wage, but at the last 10 days of the month must subisde on rice due to my Uncle Sam loans :P

Texas Jack30 Jan 2016 9:58 a.m. PST

Ouch! I guess my position isn´t too bad after all. huh?

KTravlos30 Jan 2016 9:59 a.m. PST

Eh, there are worse places :p at least I get to wargame!

Vol, keeps telling me to have a go with K.M.H. rules. I have the rules and have made-up cards and ships-logs for it. Vol saying how good they are and reading your A.A.R. keeps pulling me to have a go with them.

Rory, its a great system for battles involving 2-5 ships a side. A good compromise between complexity and play-ability.There are problems. The rule-book is atrocious, and there are pieces of info that you have to fill in, or make judgement calls, as well as a need for some house rules. But the mechanics are solid and it gives a good game.

KTravlos, I'm lucky. I live in the U.K. We shout and stamp our feet at a lot of things. But hey! We are cool and good on the whole.
Got Pete off only playing "Fighting Sail" and on to G.W. "Trafalgar". Next step is going to be K.M.H. Wish me luck!
