The times are changing. Kintargo seems ripe for rebellion. In typical Thrune fashion, the new Lord Mayor installed himself in the dead of night… A night of fires, arrests, disappearances, and explained-away sudden, "accidental," deaths where the bodies were never seen again.

In the two weeks since, from the office he made for himself after assuming possession of the Opera House, a series of new laws were set down, just as trivial as they also seem designed to drive the citizenry down; such as a ban on the wear of colorful, fine or fancy clothing. As would be expected, the priests of Asmodeus and any of the Thrune family name were immune to these petty, yet morale-sapping new laws.

While I was away in the outskirts of the city, my family was set up to take the blame for a particularly deadly fire and was arrested and tried that very night, complete with corrupt Asmodean priest, "witnesses." Like all who were framed, arrested and tried that night, they were immediately transferred out of Kintargo. None will tell us where, but all are under a death sentence. Dejected, my clan has since retreated down lower into the undercity, deeper into the tunnels and sewers. But I had had enough. The House of Thrune and the rule of the Asmodeans MUST be cast down. I will have my vengeance.

I have partnered with others of like mind, and though we are a small group, our will is mighty. A sickly noble who escaped the night of fire and has been in hiding ever since has become our connection. Long ago in Kintargo there was a resistance group known as the Silver Ravens, who held off Cheliax and the Asmodeans for quite some time; defending the people, fostering rebellion and resistance to the rule of House Thrune.

It is time for the Silver Ravens to fly again!

The party consists of a Human Cavalier, Human Slayer, Tengu Samurai, and my PC, a Ratfolk Urban Druid.

Sounds like it will be a great campaign. Is it one of their Adventure Paths?

Yep, their latest.

Paizo has the next AP planned to be "basically" the same rebellion but from the side of the nobles/elites/wealthy trying to maintain the status quo.

Two new laws; the flavoring known as "mint" has been banned within the city limits, as has the drinking of any form of tea after sunset. Both crimes punishable by excrutiation.
