A chum and I have embarked on our first Chain of Command pint-sized campaign. This has been really enjoyable so far, probably the best way to fully get our heads round the rules.

Anyway come and meet the lads and see how they get on in the first 3 battles…….

Thanks for that, nice set-up, really good report.

Iain. Nice reports. I really like the way that campaigns oblige you to make certain choices, like the way you reorganised your force for this last game.

Glad you're having fun with Martlett.

Cheers Rich and Whirlwind, much appreciated.

Also many thanks for the rules Rich! Mike and I are 'spreading the lard' at our club (although IABSM is already played) and have already run a couple of 'training' games – should be lots of club based action in the near future.

Playing the campaigns does add another bit of tension/realism to these excellent rules – I'd really advise giving one a go if you haven't already.

Love it! Brilliant AAR. We're playing this campaign too. Highly recommend it to anyone who haven't tried a campaign before.

Oh and as a Liverpool fan I chuckled at the name of the German replacement leader :)

Cheers WP! After looking at yours, means a lot.

When I get my British platoon together it will definitely be an Essex battalion – there are going to be a LOT of ex-West Ham players!

I think the leasson to take away from this is to never play against Mike again. 😜

Unfortunately there's another 2 battles to write up still and probably another 2 to fight.
