A long time ago I asked for help in starting gaming the Dutch East Indies, my original idea was to do it in 1/144, but following the good advice I received, I went for 1/600 instead.

So onto the question, does anyone make either a Curtis-wright cw 21b or a B-10 bomber. Or is there an alternative?

cheers

Maybe you could look into commissioning one of the companies to produce one.

You might search on Shapeways. I-94 makes a CW21b, but in 1/300. They also have a B-10 planned. Not much help I'm afraid.

I'm not sure if there's a CW-21 anywhere unfortunately (there used to be a garage cast resin one, but the range disappeared.) The B-10 can definitely be had on Shapeways, both long canopy and separate cockpit versions.

As Dom says JTF600 produced a rough but usable CW 21 now OOP Both are available from H&R in 1/300th, in fact they can supply pretty much all you would need. Oh and Dom does the Decals in both scales. ;)

OK just be told by a friend I'm skyping with that there is a 1/700th set of CW 21 on shapeways..

Some sculptors are willing to resize their product. It might be worth dropping him an email.

I'd pick up the CW-21s in 1/600, I'll have to go throw my two cents in with the sculptor.

I have the B-10s, they're nice.

I've inquired with several people doing aircraft there, about resizing, and at least two have said they're willing to do that.

Looking for Cold War aircraft myself, e.g. Bear bombers, B-58s, B-47s, Hound Dog and Bomarc missiles, etc., in 1/600th, and other scales.

Hi, thanks for the information, I have been onto shapeways to see if both planes can be re-scaled (emails sent), will let you all know how I get on.

A Shapeways shop"Tiny Thingamajigs" has a B-10 in 1/600, in WSF and FUD. Google shapeway 1/600 B-10.
