I love the Syntha, but really aren't a fan of the tanks. The infantry still need to get into battle. What models would suit as personnel carriers or large robot (TAG sized) carriers? Hover is important, and a round edge (iPhone style) aesthetic would be a plus. |

Anyways, my original post was quite long and I have no clue how to find it… so… First, good to see another VOID fan still playing! For me, I have no problem with the original models – but I house ruled a dedicated transport… The Cyclops "Argus." Since the Syntha faction book has a point value for the "base" model and then adds points for the turret weapons, if you use the points for the base model as a dedicated transport, you are set (and still have twin linked hvy pulse rifles for defensive fire.) Have you taken a look at the GZG Stargrunt 25mm resin hover vehicles? A couple of them are solid "floaters" without skirts, you have to search about a bit to find them though… Something like this without the turret: auction Or this without the wheels: auction |

There's the Tau Devilfish APC from GW:
More VTOL than hover, though. Has two side hatches and hatch on the rear ramp. Rear ramp is big enough to handle 3-4 grunts simultaneously. You can get the old GZG 25mm vehicles from daemonscape.com ( link ), no trawling evilbay needed. |

A big +1 from me on the subject of Daemonscape. Great service, the resin does not require washing, the molds seem to have cleaned up and in general it is just a damn good company to work with. |

The old GZG 25mm vehicles are now produced by Daemonscape: link Edit: Didn't spot that Lion in the Stars had already said about them *slap* |

Yeah, they've cleaned up a lot of the old GZG casts and created new moulds. Some of the original GZG stuff had small GW bits and gubbins on them … these are now gone. |
