link These are Warlord Games' US infantry in winter gear, specifically heavy greatcoats. Would they work for a Korea wargame if I threw in an Easy Eight Sherman or the like? Edit:

A lot of gear was the same but a lot was starting to change. The great coat is probably the most noticeable. It was replaced by a winter parka not sure what year. Here's a good article on a Korean war US infantry action figure and gear link |

Man, it's sooooo tempting. Maybe I could make some green-stuff fur on those collars. The only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger is lack of availability of North Koreans. I see 1st Corps makes 28mm Chinese troopers, but they only have riflemen; I guess I'd have to make support weapons out of Soviets. And it would be easy to scrounge up a T-34/85. |

I know this is not your scale, but Khurasan make Chinese and Eureka make North Koreans, both in 15mm. Pithead make just about everything, in 10mm (the figures are on their downloadable catalog), including troops in winter clothing. In the interim, come join the new Korean War forum: link |
