Okay, I get that these are largely inspired by a certain gothic sci-fi game, but seriously -- why is a giant robot wearing a loincloth?? Are the mecha in the future incontinent??

It's where the faction paints its flag, and allows enemy troops to shimmy up like Jackie Chan and plant a large explosive next to its gonads.
