I was posted on the Prussian right flank at the 2015 Battle of Grünfeld. This was our annual Batailles de l'Ancien Régime 1740-1763 (BAR), December SYW wargame. I think the briefly captioned photos will interest you. There are tons of galloping horsemen and a shocking reversal of fortunes here:

Yes, those are all 28mm figures. That's what Bill and his comrades use for their "big battalion" SYW games.

We use a wide variety of figure brands including 30mm Staddens and Surens, Crusader, Elite, Foundry, Front Rank, RSM, Minden, Old Glory and once in awhile, even some smaller Minifigs!
