I am finding it difficult to find out how the British troops were uniformed and equipped in this compaign. Did they have European dress or Mediterranean dress? Can anyone advise? Then I can buy the right figures for the job. |

Most of the units were shipped straight from the desert, and wore a somewhat eccentric mix of KD and wool uniforms, tatty pullovers etc (as it wasn't high summer and it did rain and get cold, even in the desert). Crete was quite warm, so more KD in evidence. But essentially they are wearing the usual piratical Mediterranean uniforms, which were a mix of pretty well everything, depending on the weather. |

Agree with Martin – if you have 8th Army Brits they would work just fine for Greece/Crete |

Yep, anything you see in the desert war 1940. Lots of pics of soldiers in Greece wearing greatcoats. |
