SOW waterloo has been out for over 6 months, it has gotten one major update.

But lots of mods have been made, someone has made the missing uniforms from the original game (mostly various french guard cavalry ) another has made it so prussian landwehr cav has the right uniforms (they used prussian dragoon sprites before)

But the biggest is KS mod, it was originally a mod for the previous game gettysburg but was ported over to waterloo.

It does enormous stuff.

It adds Austrians, bravarians, Polish, baden, Wurttemberg, Portuguese, Westphalia, saxons, (both 1806 and later) spanish, earlier british, russian, earlier french)

It also add gameplay changes (ai uses more column of divisions ) and you can shoot from said columns.

They also make artillery well useful.

In vanilla waterloo, you could have 50 guns firing at the enemy 500 yards away for an hour and only kill 3 guys.

Now the casualties would be in the many hundreds or thousands.
I've had a single 8 gun battery get close to 300 enemy casualties in about an hour.

They also fixed the problem with cavalry rearly getting many kills when riding down fleeing enemy infantry.

I had some bravarian cavalry ride right into sevral thousand Austrians as they broke, as one unit broke so did the next. My bravarians got stuck in and with in a few minutes they had killed, captured or wounded about 400 austrians.
