Hello:

Any idea of what became of Franck and his "Forgotten Glorious" 28mm 1806 Prussian range?

Hello, again:

183 hits on this thread and nobody knows anything?

I had email addresses from the kickstater and I have used the contacts from Franck's blog several times in recent months and nothing…

Is, or has, anyone been ordering figures "Forgotten Glorious" in the last year or two?

Cheriton,

I'm not at home to find the email, but some time in 2015 I communicated with Franck and was told I would be receiving the hussars soon, but since then nothing.

Someone asked the question on their Facebook page in September, but no answer. If you have FB, you can message him… link

I joined for both the infantry and hussar kickstarters and received the infantry. After a while with little information on the hussar development, I sent them a question on mail regarding this issue sometime around summer last year, but no answer. Since then I have neither received nor registered any news from the company.

Ed von HesseFedora & Rittmester:

Many thanks, first comments I have had from any source in a couple of years. Apologies for (perhaps?) sounding a bit "snippy" in my second post of this thread, but…thumbs up

I did receive 200 infantry in 2014, all good so far. I too had, at that time, asked Franck if I could save my remaining 200 pts for some cavalry & artillery, He replied no problem.

I wasn't looking necessarily for a Prussian army but something along the lines of those Prussians participating in the 1807 campaign (more, maybe someday).

Last I visited the blog, latter part of 2015, there were pictures of hussar greens and promises…some here were advising, in 2013, better to get all the infantry one could at that time?

I will pursue more attempts now that I know you guys have had at some communication from them. Franck seemed a dedicated, honest person, I can't believe it, maybe events got out of control…

Cheers,

guinness

My understanding is that they had a problem when the main mold maker or someone similar who was in England died and that backed up everyone. I just received news that the Hussars have just come in. I commissioned them to paint up my Hussars so maybe I've got a bit more current information but I would be looking for an update soon.
I've recently purchased (as in the last 6-9 months) infantry figures so I know they are still around and working.

Oh yes, that would the unfortunate fellow (mold maker) that died unexpectedly last year. Put a wrench in other figure projects in which I am involved. Poor people at the molding source apparently were in quite a state for a while.

Good news, one of my primary kickstarters, one in which you are also involved I believe, is getting back up to speed the last few months. Hopefully Franck will be doing so soon as well.

Can you say how you were contacting him? Thanks for the encouraging news…

Cheers,

I posted on Franck's site, inquiring whether his Iron Brigade were available. He responded (affirmatively) within 24 hours. I'd try that.

MSU John:

Hello. thanks the note. I sent queries (one each in Aug, Sep & Oct) to [from Franck's site]:

fgminiz@free.fr

Did you use a different email address, or did you post on the forum?

I've just got the hussars and the generals I pre-ordered. Very nice figures. contact@fgminiz.fr should work as an E-mail.

Good Luck!
