What were the colors of the M60a1's that were supplied to the israel's during the Yom Kippur war. |

Probably Forest Green or Olive Drab. Possibly tan (khaki) if there was time before shipping |

I found a couple of photos of tanks being unloaded in 1973 and they looked pretty dark (so presumably green). |

All the ones supplied during the war came from war reserves in Europe, so would have been Forest Green or OD. |

I don't have my references with me but I thought the few european m60s were for photo ops/propaganda not sure they actually drive off to the Sinai? Let alone fought in green? As opposed to the ammunition….. Happy to be corrected. |

A couple of color photos show them in Israeli tan, which is a unique color. Darker than a standard desert tan, but lighter than brown. |
