Hello,
Any one out there running a What if Mexican Texas or Us war via the late 1830's?

I've thought about it. Texas doesn't have muuch of an army and seems unlikely to pull off a second miracle, but a Mexican pre-emptive strike While Taylor is still gathering at Corpus might be interesting.

Post Independence there was almost constant warfare between Texas and Mexico, incursions and raids from both sides.

That's true, buts it's small scale stuff. Were you thinking of a skirmish/raid campaign or a full scale war?

Full scale with the new Texas army or US intervention.

Our group has just started doing some "What If" games in the period 1837-1844 using then Regimental Fire & Fury rules.

We've had a couple of games and it's a fun period.
