I got tired of wondering. It will come when it's ready. Right now it doesn't really affect my TMP experience that much to worry about when it's gonna get here . Robert

Could you give us…a hint?? Why do you need to know? It's coming along… |

Maybe as paying members we have a vested interest? Seems like that's a good reason. |

Will TMP 4.0 ever surface? Who cares? TMP is free. It works (sort of). It's full of knowledgeable & agreeable people. It's a great resource. There's no miniature website more active. I don't believe in Santa but I still enjoy Christmas. |

And what about the year 4715. Do we REALLY have to wait another 2699 years? Oh well, it'll give me time to paint down some of my 1970's era lead pile. |

"Why do you need to know?" How about "because I am a paying customer who also supports the advertisers that appear on your website which supports you." If you worked on my team and gave one of our customers that answer you would be out the door in 15 minutes. It was a legitimate question asked in a polite manner. That being said, personally I don't care when it happens. |

<rubs lamp> From the land beyond Beyond, From the world past hope and fear I bid you TMP 4.007 Now appear! </rubs lamp> it was worth a shot. |

Bill RR Martin will unveil the new TNM when it is finished, and it will be amazing. In other news, Bill RR Martin has revealed that The Game of TMP will be a 9 part series of upgrades rather than the previous 7. |

I just work on it until it's done. I'm not comfortable giving a date yet. My experience with this sort of thing is that you put a lot of work in, and then everything falls together in the end. I have prototyped several areas, but am still learning the capabilities of this content-management system. |

Kyote…as someone who works in IT, (and works with developers) I've learned the following when I comes to product development. You can have it: 1: Fast 2: Good 3: Cheap Pick two…you can't have all three…. |

The challenge is, instead of fixing bugs, adding content and growing the site iteratively, expectations have now grown to such a high level, any new release of TMP will be viewed as a failure. I do hope this big bang approach succeeds. |

Perfectly reasonable answer, shame you didn't offer that straight away, rather than the snarky, 'Why do you need to know?' John |
