SAGA Tournament – Dragon's Lair San Antonio, Texas:

Twelve of us came together along with our warbands to particpate in a SAGA tournament. Some beautiful armies, great players and friendly competition were the highlights.

Gripping Beast provided some great prizes. This is a quarterly event sponsored by the Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) group here in Texas. We hold additional SAGA events in Austin and Houston TX.

Congratulations to Jacob Mayer, Mike Gomez and Martin Zamarrippa on placing as the top 3. All players received a Dragon's Lair giftcard (thanks Dragon's Lair for that and a great venue!!).

Also sponsoring the event were Gripping Beast (makers of the great SAGA game system and miniatures), Black Tree Design (producer of 28mm metal miniatures) and LSHM for donating prizes.

It was also great to have a number of players from the Austin SAGA group.

Here are a few pictures, more to follow and look for a full write-up and results in the February LSHM Newsletter.

If you play SAGA and missed it – shame on you. If you do not play but would like to try it out contact me here.

San Antonio Saga saga – looks like fun with nicely painted units and just enough terrain.

12 players and some sweet prizes! Very nice. San Antonio Saga looks to be thriving. Great photos, looking forward to the write up and full player/army list.
