I was wondering if anyone had heard if BF will be releasing any other US/Soviet kit this year? It would seem that there are a couple of glaring omissions in the first wave, namely a Bradley and a BTR-60/70/80. Also a BRDM-2 kit would be a solid investment for Battlefront as the same kit could also make an AT-5 or an SA-9 variant without much trouble. |

I think the first wave only covers what's featured in the TY novel. Other stuff people like to see added include the M60A1 and the Apache gunship. |

It is covering the novel but they did leave out BTRs and M3s, the BTR being the most glaring omission IMO. I guess they put out enough to play with but not so much that if Team Yankee was a flop that it would put them out of business. I guess, based off what I'm hearing, that their supply didn't meet demand and that a number of gamers are grumbling because there weren't enough toys for everyone. So a success? The next round, IIRC, of releases adds a couple of new "factions" by giving them a tank, an apc, and troops. After that I think they said that they would round out the US and Soviet sets. So yeah, the next round for the Soviets and US would probably have the Bradley and BTR since they were in the book. |

Yep, M60A1 or A3, Bradleys, Apaches, BTRs, and those little BRDM scout vehicles, T-64s and T-80s would be nice, too. Then of course, West Germans and British, which they've officially said are coming at the "end of the year". |

I remember, years ago, when the micro armor scale game TACFORCE came out(GDW, i believe). They also said they would expand the game beyond the us and soviet cards that came with the box set. They never did, which, imo, was a shame, as TACFORCE, while a bit slow(matching the cards was time consuming)was really good game. In fact, i never understood why some game company did'nt get the rights to the game. It had potential. |

I went all-out and bought every release of TY so far (including 'Potechnov's Bears' and 'Bannon's Boys'), and will continue to do so as new releases become available. BF is the most financially successful non-prepainted/CMG miniature game company outside of Nottingham and there should be no doubt that TY will continue to grow and expand. I expect it to be behind FOW but ahead of WWI, Vietnam and 'Fate of a Nation' in popularity. |

I have Bundeswehr, so am not overly concerned. Would like to see more options though, and British releases. |
