I'm not sure it's John Steed. The body language reads more like Kojak. You could convert the hat pretty easily. Hamilton Smith and Mork are spot on, although I suppose Mork should be tossing an egg rather than pointing a pistol. The guy on the left is really familiar, but I can't think of which tv show he's from. |

Right. Pay attention. The chap on the left is Detective Inspector Jack Regan, as played by the late John Thaw, in "The Sweeney". He's perhaps a bit too thickset for classic era Regan and iiirc his usual weapon was his fist, a police truncheon, anything that came to hand or a .38 revolver. Then again, he could be Inspector Morse, also played by Thaw, after a really bad day such as when the real ale was off. Ideally, a figure for DS George Carter, Regans colleague, should follow? |
