I was just on Shapeways, and seem to recall a nice digital sculpt of a B-58 Hustler a while back, but can't seem to find it anymore. Does anyone know of one that looks reasonably accurate, preferably in 1/600th scale, and/or one that might be able to be re-sized? I could use at least a couple, and have pretty much given up hope that anyone will produce it in metal, in this scale, before I expire. There is one listed on Shapeways now, in 1/600th, and 1/700th scales, but it is not anywhere close to looking like the real aircraft does.

I have looked for some time for a B58 with no luck. What ever happened to the molds from JTF600 whose models were sold by Pico Armor? He had a nice looking B58 but his resin casting quality was very poor. Someone could have gotten one decent miniature off the mold to use as a master for a metal model and you and I would be happy. |

There are some models on turbosquid. Try contacting a designer and ask if they could set one up on Shapeways. There is an .stl model here. link |

Thanks for the suggestion. Not sure who got the molds, now. There was a really nice looking B58 on Shapeways a year or two ago, but it appears to have been removed, sadly. |

Thanks, MCV 80, but I don't recall seeing one with the "bubble canopy" variant posted on Shapeways. |
