"What was once the dark horse of superhero movies for 2016 is beginning to look like the crowd favorite, with Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn being named as the new superhero character audiences are most excited to see in a recent poll. Well, if the superhero genre is going to continue to thrill, perhaps this kind of evolution of the genre will keep things fresh. SUPER IDEA: Dawn of the Concept Art Suicide Squad wasn't the only DC property to get a bump this week. The launch of the new official DC Films Facebook page also gave a boost to the cinematic Justice League thanks to some fancy concept art. It was hardly the most surprising image ever—we had, after all, seen Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, and Aquaman already, and Cyborg and Flash look a lot like their comic book counterparts—but still: It looked damn cool. All of the sudden 2017's Justice League Part One feels just a little too far away, doesn't it? Why this is super: Look, if you have to have it explained to you why seeing the Justice League all together, even in concept art form, is pretty cool, then perhaps you're in the wrong place. But here is a question that should be asked about the artwork: Where's Green Lantern? SUPER IDEA: No, They're Not Hinting at a Remake of The Cable Guy…" See here link Amicalement Armand |

I'm confused. Isn't Harley Quinn one of Batman's evil enemies? How is she a superhero now? |

Suicide Squad. Bad guys (and gals) made to do good. Sort of. Looks like Tango01 is right though – I bought a pack of Harley Quinn pin badges yesterday… |

Suicide Squad is about a team of batman super villains who are basically being used Dirty Dozen style. So bad guys doing a good mission that will more than likely get them killed, but they are bad so who cares if they die. There is a lot of debate over Harley Quinn because most people think of her as the Batman TAS version and not the half naked ty psycho cheerleader version from the video games and post New 52. |

I'm not sure how anyone can complain that Harley Quinn looks like this:

I'm not fond of scumball chic. |

As a fan of the original animated version, I'm appalled at the "new" version. Also, unless something changed, Harley's no "super" anything. She's just a delusional nutjob with a fixation on The Joker. |

I'm not fond of scumball chic. I don't have a problem other than her boyfriend is "The Joker". |

I like the character but she isn't a super anything (though TBF neither is batman or most of his enemies). I like the look of this movie though and I say that as someone firmly in the Marvel camp where super heroes are concerned. |

I can't wait to see it and Deadpool |

For myself I'll pass on both of them. |

After Man of Steel, I'm pretty excited to see what DC is going to bring to the table. They're keeping the gritty style established by Nolan's Batman while preparing for some fantastic off the wall stuff. |

Whilst Margot Robbie is kinda hot, I'll pass on this one. And the batman/superman, deadpool and every other superhero movie out there. I was never a fan of superheroes as a kid, I'd rather have read Judge Dredd, tbh. Another Dredd movie – now THAT I could get behind. |
