I'm starting to fall in love with this game! Tried classic Battletech with tanks and infantry for the first time (normally its just mechs), and it was great. Can't wait to try some air units!

Great game. Stalker is one of my "go to" mech choices. We have been talking about abandoning the hex maps and going terrain for games.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the hex stuff. If you poke around my blog, you'll see I love making terrain.

I think I sense a Battletech terrain project coming on…

Only trouble is how to use the whole "bursting through buildings" thing with solid terrain.

Replaceable buildings…The 'fresh from factory' model, and the 'busted by a mech' model.

One of the best battletech games i ever played was mechs vs a tank force.
That was back in mid 1980's.

I have a semi-plan to use empty soap boxes (single bar type), over an insertable base… the box is the undamaged building, pull it off, the base would be rubble, the damaged building.

But….. have not done this yet :)

Create an 'intact' and a 'crashed through in dramatic fashion' version of each building?
