From 1/72 Zvezda plastic sets.

I keep saying if I was just starting 1/72 would be the way I'd go, nice work there.

Very well done, and I agree, an excellent argument for 1/72nd if one were starting from scratch…. which I am decidedly NOT. Still, both the sculpts and painting are very attractive!

Very nice!

You've chosen the best figures & given them an amazing paint job: love your work!

Zvezda makes lovely figures, and these are absolutely beautiful! Well done!

To think I spent my Christmas break painting up a couple of boxes of these and they look nowhere near as good. Kind of makes me want to throw away my paint brush! grin

Nice bold painting with equally bold blacklining!

Widowson22 Jan 2016 2:31 p.m. PST

The only problem being that Zvezda has quit producing all their wonderful big sets. I tried to stock up, but money is limited.

Live 'em. And nice to see a green that would be visible on the table. I know they should be so dark as to be almost black, but I like my Russians to be green.

Excellent

Texas Jack23 Jan 2016 5:15 a.m. PST

I´m with you Marc, my fellows are resplendent in their greenness!

@Widowson- yes, Zvezda are horrible with this. I just had an email the other day from Hannants saying they were removing set 8034, Roman Republic infantry from my watch list as Zvezda says they are no longer making it.
So now I am stuck with a full Carthagenian army and only one box of Roman infantry.

@Hokkabaz Impressive. Your work is beautiful.

Thanks very much Corsair, but unfortunately the shipping to the Czech Republic kills me.
At least the price is normal, I checked on Amazon in Germany and one box is over 60 euros! Maybe I will sell my lone box and use the proceeds to buy 20mm metal. grin
